The Research Centre of Women's Affairs (RCWA) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization, established on 22nd October 1987.
Its main target is to promote and present issues concerning women by organizing relevant lectures, conferences, cultural seminars and educational meetings in Greece and abroad, and by collecting, studying and presenting documents related to women's movements, aiming at the foundation of a Women Documents Centre of Information and the foundation of a broadcast station for women.
The RCWA is mainly concerned with issues of prostitution and trafficking, violence against women, domestic violence, women immigrants, women's health problems. It is also participating in many national, EU, and international programmes related to the above issues.
