ENATW 2006 - Third transnational meeting, Norrtalje 22nd February 2007
  Partner organisations presented a provisional overview of the research on national implementation of EU standards against trafficking. The draft Statutes, as emended by the first reading and discussion among partners held in Budapest, was further discussed. On 23rd February partner organisations met the City manager of Norrtalje (Sweden) to present the network. The work of the Swedish Government against trafficking has been presented to partner organisations.

   
ENATW 2006 - Regional Workshop "European Year of Equal Opportunities for All: strategies for preventing and combating trafficking in women" Bergamo, 26th Jannuary 2007.
  IRENE e Patronato San Vincenzo organised a regional workshop to celebrate the European Year for Equal Opportunity for all and to foster the mainstreaming of gender equality principles into strategies to prevent and combat trafficking for sexual exploitation. ›› next

   
ENATW 2006 - Regional Workshop "Strategies of prevention and fight against trafficking in women for sexual exploitation in the 10 new member states of the European Union"
  MONA - Foundation for the women of Hungary organised the workshop to present the ENATW to organisation working in new Member States of European Union. Organisations attending the meeting discussed on the status of implementation of EU standards to prevent and combat trafficking in women for sexual exploitation. Ms Zita Gurmai Hungarian Member of the European Parliament attended the meeting. ›› next

   
ENATW 2006 - Second transnational meeting, Budapest 15 th December 2006
  The II° transnational working meeting has been devoted to the interim monitoring of the project activities carried out during the first semester of implementation of the working programme and to the planning of the activities to be still implemented. Partner Organisations have had the opportunity to share outputs and impact at national level of the activities already realised in the framework of the ENATW 2006 project. A first draft of the Statutes to establish ENATW as a legal entity was presented.

   
ENATW 2006 - First Transnational meeting, Milan, 7th - 8th July 2006
  The partner organisations of project "European Network Against Trafficking in Women for sexual exploitation", meet to confirm and share tasks, to define common actions. The contents of the handbook on European standard regarding measures to prevent and combat trafficking has been presented and shared with all partners, as well as the Report on anti-trafficking activities (Italy, Hungary, Sweden, Lithuania, Poland, France, Greece). On Saturday 8th , partner organisation visited a shelter for women victim of trafficking based in Bergamo. The meeting has been devoted to the exchange of information and methodologies about activities and interventions for protecting and assisting women victims of trafficking and sexual exploitation during the process of economic and social reintegration. Partner organisation had the opportunity to meet one of the person responsible for the management of the shelter. During the meeting, the procedures relating article 18 of the Italian immigration law issuing the permit of stay to victims of trafficking have been deeply analysed. Finally partner visited the shelter

   
ENATW 2006 - Launch of the project - DG Equal Opportunity of Lombardy Region, 7th July 2006
  The ENATW and the Chart of Principles have been presented to the Regional Authorities working in the field of Equal Opportunity in order to enhance the public-private cooperation in the fight against trafficking in women. The regional Authorities confirmed the commitment of Lombardy Region to prevent and combat trafficking in women for sexual exploitation in the framework of the regional strategy for the promotion of women's rights. The working programme of the project ENATW 2006 will give to the Regional Government the opportunity to foster the involvement of equal opportunity bodies and women's association based into the regional territory for an effective fight against trafficking
